Lost - the Marquis is back
A Lost Picnic: The Marquis de Sade terrifying & amusing Grassmarket patrons, enticing visitors & residents alike to enjoy some food, music & dancing with historical figures in Dance Base.
Catherine the Great persuaded people to ride her (hobby) horse (tourists proving more willing than cold, wet, Doonhamers), Mary Wollestonecraft gave birth ("family entertainment?!" exclaimed one passer-by), William Blake questioned a taxi driver on his magic coach, Mozart sang badly & played with a trio of musicians, the mysterious Abbé was, well, mysterious & Benjamin Franklin offered me an invention to increase confidence - his boots, boxes tied to my feet, or stilts. Hmmm.....
This picnic followed the Lost Supper in Dumfries.
Anarchic, hysterical madness on a sunny Royal Mile.
