Himself bought a glorious cook book from the Navy Stores, Galley it is called.

I have fond memories, sitting in the galley eating roast potatoes and cheese sauce one vegetarian Christmas, (whilst himself ran round the galley with short staff cooking Christmas dinner for the holiday crew.

I was totally in my element. Surrounded by sailors and stuffing my face with food.
