The berry thief
Temperatures have remained very low and there was even a frost when we first woke this morning, but no snow. The birds are now deciding that the berries are worth eating and here I caught this blackbird in the act pinching the hawthorn berries. I've fiddled about with the image quite a bit as it is taken through glass and my subject is some 50 -60 feet away but you get the idea.
In other news: there was an Instagram post from my hair salon to say that the compulsory wearing of masks from tomorrow in England will include hairdressers. I am guessing that other close contact services such as beauticians will also fall under this heading.
