A Great Big Front Porch Welcome to Cousin Paddy!
There was enough snow in the yard that I was able to make a snowman. It was a very, very small one, and we named him Cousin Paddy, as is our tradition. Cousin Paddy was made of three small snowballs, with tiny stones for eyes and nose, twigs for arms, and sporting a teal scarf and black top hat.
T. Tiger had to come out for the meet and greet, and somebody else showed up as well: Little Gray Kitty, alias LGK. LGK wasn't sure what to make of the whole thing. He sniffed T. Tiger (T. Tiger wasn't sure how he felt about THAT!) and when the hat fell off Cousin Paddy, he realized that it made a pleasing sound as it skittered, so he began batting it all around the porch!
Here is a rare photo of the three of them together. There is LGK up top, sort of like a T. Rex, wandering into our shot. And there is Tiny Tiger (who is just about to get mowed over and do a face-plant into the porch), and his friend Cousin Paddy. Don't tell me that every photo shoot CAN'T be a mini adventure! ;-)
Here is a song of welcome for this story: the song Consider Yourself, from the 1968 musical, Oliver. (Best comment: "As a Brit I can confirm everyone in London often breaks into song and dance. Especially the policemen.")
