November roses

A little bit bedraggled but still lovely to look at.  Terribly cold again today.  
I was feeling quite disheartened this morning so had a long chat with an old friend about why that might be.  Then I spent some time planning food and gifts for Christmas, and also thinking about some of the problems I’ve been worrying about.  I always find it helpful to write things down, make a plan, decide on priorities:-)
I daresay everyone is feeling somewhat anxious about this new variant.  It must be pretty significant if it shakes the government out of their smug complacency.  Good to know masks will be required again in shops and on public transport.
