Beechnut shell

I couldn't resist this for today.  The weather's been dark and damp and this little beechnut shell has been sitting in the porch for a couple of weeks just begging to be blipped  So here we are.  I love the silky hairs and curly spikes on the outside and it's inner furriness (which you can't see here but I guess most of you know).

Not a lot else has been going on today, thank goodness, so I've been doing not very much apart from giving Hazel a short walk and cleaning up the kitchen.
