Progress with the new fruit tree area

I've now completed a really important autumn job: moving my soft fruit trees to the back of the plot. 

They've had manure, cardboard and bark and I've now only got to work on the finishing touches - edging the area where bark will meet grass with old deck boards to make it easier to maintain in the summer.

I've really enjoyed the various stages of this job. I think the soft fruit will definitely be happier with some shade in the summer and it should look quite nice with the row of lavender by the greenhouse.
