Kingfisher

It was warmer today, although dull and dreary. It made me feel I could spend some time outside for the first time since having covid. I decided to go for a short time to the river to see if the kingfisher was about, telling myself that I wasn't to hang around getting chilled, if he didn't show. He didn't keep me waiting long :))

I've tagged this for Tiny Tuesday because I've done my best to reveal lots of  tiny detail in this little bird. He's not actually tiny but much smaller than most people seem to expect.
