The Hut

A spin across to the Smiddybrae Carehome to help my mother celebrate her birthday.  She had plenty of gifts, she was a bit fragile but spirited. 
 
A quick visit across to the Hut today and then CMC went through to Kirkwall for badminton whilst I prepared the agenda for tomorrow’s meeting with the Friends of hoy Kirk Heritage Officer. 
 
This afternoon it wasn’t so much Après moi, le deluge – it was pendant, by, with and from the deluge as ark building became the hobby de nos jours. 
 
John Healy is 78.  It is not known whether he likes Petula Clark.
