2021 Tuesday — Mitzi’s X-ray

We took Mitzi to the veterinarian today to get a second opinion about her coughing/choking problems. We’ve been told previously that she has a shrinking trachea, which is common in older dogs.

Dr. Byrd explained that Mitzi’s X-rays today revealed that her trachea is in pretty good shape. That was good news. So some new meds were prescribed, and now we move forward into a time of wait and see so we can determine if the new meds improve her condition.

After we exited the vet’s office, we drove to SLO to get the new prescription at the Costco pharmacy. We also stopped at the Madonna Inn to enjoy a late lunch/early dinner in their coffee shop.
