Carol using up an odd holiday and leaving me at the helm.

We've been awarded with an extra day's holiday each as a thank you. But it's to be taken between Christmas and New Year.  How ridiculous! Who will look after 8 people with dementia? The people at the top have not really thought that one through. They probably don't think we toilet people either. 

I usually have a small tree in the dining room but it's ancient and tatty now.

Clive bought a small potted one. Is it time to get the decorations out of the loft?
