Countdown ....
It's the 1st of December which means I can put up my advent calendar- this is a traditional one with a picture behind each door.
We also have a wine one with a 1/4 bottle of wine each door. Whilst we will open it each day we won't drink it each day but will try some in the run up to Christmas. The rest will be added to the 24 from the first calender which was sent - one was broken and the cardboard disintegrated. On reporting this a second was dispatched.
Today was yoga in the morning & bookshop in the afternoon.
The Gaelic for December is An Dùbhlachd which essentially means the darkness. The Irish on the other hand is Nollaig which means Christmas. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions as to what this difference signifies.
