A splash of gold

We were out walking the dog when the sun was rising and just for a little while the light was golden.  Then the sun rose higher and disappeared behind the clouds.

1st of the month and not only have I got the Christmas decorations out from behind the eves, but I've put some of them up too.  Christmas card writing is also underway.  I'm busking in Cambridge at the weekend and don't want to get myself into a last minute panic situation.
