Into the light

Today my Mum passed. Theoretically, she actually passed on 19th November at home, stubbornly independent and surrounded by her animals, exactly as she always wanted. She has been in hospital and unresponsive since then and it was just a matter of time until the inevitable. Her body had a lovely cosy rest in hospital before joining her spirit. She gave me a wonderful childhood, encouraged my love of nature and of animals and allowed me to be as independent as I needed. All she ever wanted was that we were happy, nothing else mattered.
