Heckmondwike

The sun was shining this morning and I headed out on a 6 km run up to Norland Moor and back home. It's the first run I have done for over a week due to the ice and snow.

This afternoon I had cause to go over to Heckmondwike and had a wander around the town centre and called in at Costa for a free Gingerbread latte. I used to go to the Grammar School here but moved away from the area to Halifax  in the 1980s.

The War Memorial is situated in Green Park in the centre of the town.

A Christmas tree and a few other things were purchased on the way back home. The tree is in the garage and will not go up until the middle of next week.
