Early Halloween

A return visit to my urologist to find out the result of a second PSA Prostate cancer check after the first one had thrown up possible doubts. These tests are apparently very questionable, many state health systems, including Germany's, won't pay for simple screening where there is no indication. I think it cost me about €30. The second test however is paid by the health system as there is a cause for concern.

Well, luckily, the second test was all clear. Having given me the good news, the doctor simply asked how I was feeling generally, to which I said fine but for some long-standing chronic circulation problems with cold/numb fingers and toes. His response --- I should try VIAGRA!!!!!

This has resulted in lots of fun ever since. Posting this somewhat later, I can say that I was at my GP some time later and mentioned the advice. She looked at me....and then suggested before "we" try Viagra, we should go have a check-up with a cardiologist! So I soldier on in life without assistance, but much the richer for tales from friends as to what the 'side-effects' could be!
