More Tears
Not a very interesting shot to blip but it is so relevant to me for my journal.
Over the last few years we have done a lot of work to help Kat with her allotment. Making the frames, weeding, planting, etc. She waited on the waiting list for 7 years to get it but now she has given her notice to leave it. Too far to cycle to from her new home!
The good news is, though, that she has moved near to her friend who doesn't like gardening so has offered Kat the use of her garden to grow fruit and veg!
An infuriating morning of trying to get an engineer to disconnect a "not working burglar alarm that had been ringing since last night. Someone came out and immediately said "That's a fire alarm noise, not a burglar alarm!" and told the workmen next door to look in their Rubbish bags leaning against Kat's wall to look for the fire alarm.
The engineer didn't charge call-out fees, just petrol money.
A lovely evening with Christmas planning and whisky.
