A great afternoon spent in the company of the staff and volunteers based at Trevor Basin ( Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Llangollen Canal World Heritage Site) It was our end of season gathering and we enjoyed a stupendous Festive Afternoon Tea at the Pontcysyllte Chapel Tea Rooms. Lots of laughs and stories and Tea! And a surprise presentation. For giving over 100 hours volunteering I get my very own volunteer mug.

Walking back to the car and the view over the Basin was as the sun was setting over the boats moored there and a meeting of the resident ducks.

On the way home managed to call into Home Bargains for a christmassy headband. (Choir essential)
