Tell me, when will it be spring ?

Nothing much to say today.  I got up late and lazed about reading and doing puzzles.  Thinking at intervals I would go out and buy poinsettias or photograph or do any number of things that need doing.  But I did nothing bar walk up the garden. pick up a few bits of rubbish and persuade a long branch of a climbing rose to move across from the crab apple to the cherry tree. Hopefully it won't be too windy overnight and I can tie it in place tomorrow.  Altogether too lazy today.  Photographed buds on a shrub I've forgotten the name of.  It's an incredible optimist.  Buds appear in winter and begin to open if its mild but close again if it gets colder.  It got colder as the day went on so I expect this one is tightly shut again now.
