Winter Whites & Winter Lights

The first snow on the mountain tops was visible yesterday, December 1st and many of us here felt that's a good promiss. The snow coverage is still thin and just on the highest mountain tops here close to Chania; that's Pachnes, Grocharis, Kakovoli and  Korifi amongst others.

But the media brought alarming news; that is that the first person who brought into Greece the Omicron variant of Corona virus is located in Chania. He'd come from Johannisburg SA to visit his family here in Chania on Crete for the December month and now all are compelled to go in isolation. Ofcourse his traces of the two days he's here and wasn't noticed yet as infected, will be looked into and restrictions will come their way too. 

Just we all must be more vigilant than we were.
