Unplanned reflections

I’d taken the day off work as I’d an appointment at the hospital this morning, followed by a small filling at the dentists. Both in Preston.
As I returned to the car from the hospital I realised my back tyre was completely flat - and then spotted the nail in it. My little pump inflated it, but I decided it really needed repairing before I headed home. It wasn’t staying inflated very long. After two places telling me they couldn’t possibly help today, Halfords on the docks said they could (but not for an hour or so). So I had a stroll around the dock basin and a cold drink in Morrisons cafe (as my mouth was still numb) whilst they repaired it. I liked these reflections.
