The Bridal Shop

Seen on my neighborhood walk mid afternoon after all the rain stopped.   Some of the last big Maple leaves still attached…. I see the trees have Christmas lights—I should walk there at night, it would be prettier…except I don’t walk in the dark…. always wondered how business was here but especially in the last 2 years…I can’t imagine…but they are still here. Hopeful? H reminded me there was a flood in here last year from backed up street sewers  

I just read Jane Goodall and Douglas Abrams “The Book of Hope”     This almost 90 year old is so inspiring…her 4 reasons for hope for this troubled planet are 1) the amazing human intellect 2) the resilience of nature 3) the power of young people and 4) the indomitable human spirit.    Lots of good stories.   Oh I do hope we can still make the planet healthier!
