Hydrangea

For the first time at Wombat Hollow I have actually cut Hydrangea flowers from our own garden!  They are truly one of my favourite flowers and I’ve been watching with great interest as the two Hydrangea plants that were planted in the cottage garden last year have come into their own this spring.  I had no idea what colour they would be but was a.bit surprised to see this vibrant pink variety announce itself.

Burradoo and Mount Grace made their way home south this morning and we were pleased to know they had arrived safely.  We had two wonderful days with them and it just proves once again what an amazing community blipfoto is.
