Understanding rescue

You may remember I took on this 8 year old rescue earlier this year. She had been doing so well until I returned from a holiday with her in Norfolk . Now she seems to have withdrawn into herself again.She takes herself off a lot . When I do pick her up for a love she absolutely loves in and rests her head looking up for more. Still a way to go with her I think. Who knows what goes on in their head. Maybe she has the holiday blues
