Kingfisher In Flight

Yay - got him! All of him (unlike The One That Got Away the other day). 

He was waiting on a favoured perch when I arrived at the river - how great is that! I have loads of lovely portraits from the 45 minutes that I spent there but only one in flight shot.... I'm quite chuffed with this!

Other than my short trip to the river, I had a morning of admin and a late afternoon visit to Mum in the care home - it's all beginning to look very festive there!
