Salisbury Crags

It was quite an eventful day today. Mr P and I set off early doors for a day out in Edinburgh. We had planned to see a French film (Petite Maman). However our day didn’t pan out as planned.
We had to abandon our train from Eskbank (a bus hit a bridge) and walk into Edinburgh from Newcraighall (via Salisbury Crags) instead. Thankfully it was dry and not too cold. We didn’t see the film but we had some very tasty mezze (Richmond Cafe) and saw exhibitions at the City Art Centre (very good) and at the Fruitmarket Gallery (weird). We had a browse around John Lewis but managed to leave without buying anything and then once we’d made it back to Eskbank (trains back on) we went for a big Lidl shop. Tired tonight.
