BIRD OF PARADISE FRIDAY

I have never understood why this plant is named BIRD OF PARADISE until today.
I wanted to show how lovely it is, as it grows with the Bougainvillea; but instead, I learned why it is named after a bird. The flower does look like a tropical bird.

It’s a busy day today. I baked cookies
& just finished, when it was time for Angus to go to the groomers. Later, I am going. to a
neighborhood holiday party. It is always fun & festive. The holiday season is under way!
