And again….

Started the day on the way to A’s work with us both trying to remember the name of a Christmas song that we could only remember some of the words to, so having to sing those and see if we could get to the chorus/title. Turned out to be Sleigh ride… (I’ve got the ear worm back just describing this!)
After I dropped her I jumped into a very varied series of back to back meetings, some with definite challenges to be navigated, but hearing about new development plans for some estate work was interesting.
Off to another graduation in the afternoon which went smoothly. They’re so much shorter given smaller groups and no reception afterwards, but still nice.
Home and some more calls before collecting A. Chatted to Mx and Mt to hear about their trip to AR’s school Christmas fair this afternoon and see Mx’s green hair (didn’t quite get the story about why!).
We enjoyed a wander around the art studios at Coburg House, trying to work out what A’s tastes were in art, ceramics and jewellery, then headed to Ooh Mami for some Asian food and (for her) cocktails. Quite the worst dining experience I’ve had here….took more than an hour and a half to be served very average gyoza, edamame beans and noodles. Ridiculous, but became so bad it was almost funny.
Home for a cup of tea and an early night.
