First Winter Walk

It was a shame to miss out on the sunny winter's day so we opted for a shorter local walk as I was still recovering from my stinking cold! Gorgeous as it was I did find it a bit tiring. 

We started at Trentham Gardens but walked on the wider estate above the gardens along Kings Wood past both the Monkey Forest and Aerial Adventure Park. We then braved crossing the A34 dual carriageway from Tittensor towards Barlaston. We made our way to the Trent and Mersey Canal. From there we followed the canal for a while and then traversed the Trentham Golf Course before we hopped over the A34 again back to the car. It was around 6 miles in distance.

After a rest (and a little snooze....) in the afternoon, we met up with friends for a meal out tonight. A full on day but I did feel a bit more human getting out and about.
