Time to ...

...welcome the charms of Christmas.   One of which is of course, anagrams of the word Christmas.  I understand that not everyone enjoys the Christmas midwinter holiday or more to the point even wants to start celebrating it this early but ...

....we have Cathy's brother and his wife coming to stay for a few days next week.  So I've been busy in the kitchen baking bread and cooking in advance (all now safely in the freezer).  Historically we would have gone out for an expensive meal somewhere nice, but with the coronavirus situation being what it is none of us fancy it that much.  Still I'm sure that the chef at Chez Sheol will be doing his best, certainly the Sommelier has already been busy at the supermarket  ;-)

So earlier than ever before, the tree has been brought in, put up and decorated perfect for the 4th Dec which turns out to be Tree Dressing Day (who knew?).  We even had some Christmas Ella Fitzgerald while we did so.  

I feel that the much missed Admirer who started Silly Saturday, would rather approve, which is all that matters.
