Train Ride

I've been thinking that it's too long since I rode up the line in the train.   Today put that right, although not quite as I'd imagined it.   I had a call late yesterday evening from the volunteer roster clerk, asking if I was in town today.   Somehow it had got to - literally - the eleventh hour and there was no-one to guard the 1220 train today.   So, after a Zoom call to test sound for a talk next week, I dashed off to Pendre where someone else had done most of the train preparation for me.   A lovely winter day, verrrry chilly in the wind but with enough sunshine to make it special.
