Red-bellied woodpecker

Today was quite a bit cooler, and Mother Nature played an April Fool joke on us this morning by sending us some snow flurries! Fortunately they didn't last long and this afternoon we actually had some sun. The forecast for the rest of the week is pretty good - the temperatures trending upwards with lots of sunshine, so I'm thinking by this time next week we should be seeing some changes around here. I had two choices for my blip today - some beautiful purple crocus I saw outside the "Y", where I went swimming late morning, or woody woodpecker. I finally decided on "Woody" as I don't think I've blipped the red-bellied woodpecker before.
