Cold, Rainy and Fun

I managed to get a quick walk in the neighborhood before it started raining hard enough to be unpleasant. It was cold and although it didn't pour, it was fairly miserable, weather-wise. As I mentioned yesterday, I bought my Christmas tree in anticipation of the grandchildren's visit today. We had a grand time decorating it, drinking hot cocoa, and making marshmallow snow men with clementine peel scarves (see extra) which were eaten as a snack later. All in all a lovely day!

While I was walking this morning, I smelled an amazing fragrance and realized that I was walking past a Choisya ternata or Mexican Orange Blossom...in full bloom now. Gosh it was lovely!
