Tree

Cold dark day but it was the best opportunity to pop out and buy a Christmas tree. As we piled on the waterproof layers I moaned that it’s never like this in the movies … rosy shiny people wander through the trees in falling snow, all very Christmassy.

Well … did it not start snowing heavily when we got there! Big heavy lumps of snow! Got a tree. Snow soon turned back to rain when we got home. One soggy tree in the hallway overnight to dry out.

Two soggy people needed hot tea & mince pies.
