Designed for children?

We went for a walk this morning that we haven't done for quite some time. It involves walking through sections of the Wentworth Castle estate and at times going onto public footpaths around the edge. The estate has recently come under the management of the National Trust due to the poor management of the previous trust which has preserved the gardens and estate for public access. However, we discovered this morning that access points to the permissive footpaths have been closed and blocked off ending the circular walk that we used to do. Very frustrating. 
This footpath sign amused me - there are not usually placed at knee height!
A dull, cold and grey day again but at least it was essentially dry.
The calendar is finished and order placed! Hurrah!
