About 30 years ago....

.... we last stayed here and it is still lovely. This country hotel tucked away on the Helford River near Falmouth is where we will be spending the next few days. I also came here as child - treated to afternoon tea by my God parents who lived nearby. My parents had a holiday house in Falmouth. A very early start for a long drive with a brunch stop at a friend in Somerset.
We' ve had a swim and then an outdoor hottub. This is the swimming pool roof - still looking good 30 years on.
