No shame in coming last

I came last in a 10 mile race today from Myerscough College, organised by Garstang Running Club, but that's ok because I was officially the Back Marker and that what I was asked to do.  Every runner who completed the course - and every marshal - was rewarded with a round of Lancashire cheese, but I was presented with two as I'd taken my role particularly seriously!
