Patching
One of those things that have changed in the past 30 odd years is the reduction in the need to fill the holes in rusty cars. So today was a lesson for JT in what’s required if you buy the wrong motor!
The weekend before last, I’d unfortunately made a hole in the mower body when clearing the scrub around the field. The upside was epoxy filler and aluminium mesh. JT did a great job, mixing appropriately, filling and then sanding later. The smell of epoxy going off took me back also! Anyway, all done now and ready to mow once more.
Aside from this, the usual accompaniment of food (kippers etc for brekkie, lunch and venison pie for supper) and a wander (the long way round) to the Rodders for a pint!
Can’t be bad eh!
