Lap of Lights

My (Chris) dad came over this morning for the assembly of the shed. He’s built a lot of sheds over the years so his guidance and knowledge was much appreciated. Despite being cold and damp, we got it done with a few mugs of tea and a nice bowl of soup at lunchtime. As predicted, my painting yesterday wasn’t 100% but given there are a few bits of trim to paint as well now, I’ll just wait for a dry day!

This evening we’ve been up to Silverstone to drive the “lap of lights”. Nearly the whole Grand Prix circuit has been lined with Christmas themed lights, lasers and various groups of cars. Radio Silverstone were broadcasting too, all good festive tunes.

At the end of the lap we got out the car and climbed on the bridge across the start/finish straight to get the view in the blip.
