Winter Stag

We arrived in Bournemouth in time for lunch in a cafe by the main pier and an afternoon walk to Boscombe and back. On the pier at Boscombe a group of young men asked us to take some group photos of them. They were in high spirits and I asked if they were on a stag do but they were proud to tell us that they were actually celebrating successfully completing their time in a local rehab unit and their support and friendship for each other, which was rather lovely.

After 3 hours of walking and 20000 steps we were happy to put our feet up in our hotel room for a while before heading out for a meal in Wagamamas.

There is an illuminated Winter Wonderland and Christmas Market in th Park just off the seafront. This handsome stag is just one of the illuminations.
