Blended

Today Nia posted on Instagram “I loved spending the day with my family”..... the photo she included was this one. We don’t fall into a normal category of anything but it’s what we are. A unique, blended family. To the point that Nia and Molls granny brought a pack each of macaroons and fudge for her grandkids. She included Katie.

They went for brunch. Katie stuffed herself. She had a breakfast muffin, washed down with a hot chocolate and all the trimmings. They then moved on to dessert - sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. She was actually, finally beaten by food! Lisa sent me a photo of katie looking overjoyed wrapped in a feather boa in some form of Christmas shop!

They were later than planned dropping her to the boarding house and there was no one there for her. So she went next door to nias house and seemed very happy, from a photo she sent Lisa of her and nia, nia covered in a big paper chain!

Tonight the lower school choir were singing in the school cathedral advent service. She hasn’t performed with the choir and was a touch nervous to be front row. I’m looking forward to hearing how it all went!
