Posh baubles

After a fun evening at the kids school Christmas school concert, we enjoyed a wee lie-in today before another exciting outing. We went for a candlelit tour of Scone Palace. It’s just 10 mins from the house but like stepping back in time with tales of ancient kings, bloody deeds and royal visits.

You aren’t normally allowed to take pics but we were allowed to photograph the trees and decorations! From the 11 trees (!) this one was my favourite, all peacock themed.

In the afternoon, we rushed up to our woodland and managed to select a big tree (9ft high!) to go inside our house. It’s sitting a bit wonky but we can work on it this week and when all else fails, shove tinsel on it!
