Let Your Light Shine

Cloudy with temps in the mid 40 deg F. Since it was our last day to savor this peace and tranquillity, Hubby and I were up at 6:30am. The sunrise, my intended blip, was weak so I skipped it. I wrapped the gifts for the neighbor and packed whatever possible. That upper respiratory infection is still plaguing my sister so she slept for a few more hours. We learned that a second cousin had passed and his brother, who we see regularly, was in a drunk driver caused four car accident last night. His wife was transported to the hospital but her injuries were slight enough that she was released. Thank you, Lord. We worked together and cleaned the three levels of the house still needing a little attention, did laundry/linens and put lights on the two arrangements. As Emeril would say, we kicked them up a notch. Visited the neighbor who couldn’t stop admiring her sleigh. Our BIL made a wonderful MD crab cake meal. After the kitchen is cleaned, it should be Kindle time by the fire. Just received great news. Brooklyn’s team won the championship at this weekend’s soccer tournament. Score for last game was 1-0. Kim said Brooklyn made a great save in the final seconds. As an added bonus, Brooklyn was voted tournament MVP. Thanks for visiting. Stay safe folks. “Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it most.” - Ruth Carter Stapleton
