A Church, an angel and an amaryllis bud.
The Feast Day of St. NICHOLAS.
Many of our lovely Christmas traditions are inspired by the charity shown by St. Nicholas.
It was only drizzling when I went out to deliver my neighbourhood Christmas cards, and then it got more rainy and windy to the point I was glad I had worn my long navy raincoat, from Kendal indoor market and one of the best presents Paul has got me.
Being Monday I have been doing washing, drying and ironing.
I am so thrilled the amaryllis is doing well. It took three weeks to show signs of life. I placed it on the shelf near a radiator and I think that helped. It is expected to flower around Christmas time. I am grateful for any tips about looking after it as it is not something I usually grow. The flower will be red with a white centre.
I learnt to crochet a snowflake from watching a YouTube tutorial. I will add them to Christmas presents and put some on our Christmas tree.
Take care, thanks for visiting and have a lovely Monday blip friends.
