ControlMyNikon Episode 3:
Yay! Further refinement is possible, but I think I've cracked the basics! This is a broken-off piece of what I think is the rambling rose at the end of the garden. Came across it this morning when I was looking for likely subjects to play with on a very wet day - could hardly miss the yellow of the jelly fungus! Used the ControlMyNikon software to take the autofocus from the foremost piece of lichen on the right to the back edge of the twig on the left, in 20 shots, then stacked them using the Zerene software I'm also trialling.
Should perhaps have arranged it further away from the background log, & fiddled with the lighting a bit, but that wasn't the object for today.
