One Pound

A wet afternoon.

I weighed a 1 lb weight in grams. It should have weighed 453.592 g or 454 g to the nearest gram. Actually it weighed 455 g. Therefore the scales were wrong, or the weight was a little generous, or the weight is rusty and I’m weighing the added oxygen – weighing something that you can’t see, smell, touch or taste.

As I say, it was a wet afternoon.
