Bruges Day 2

Breakfast, admired the hotel parrot, another longish walk. Visited the Picasso Museum (very good), then the Sint-Janshospitaal (very full of school children), then the Begijnhof and it's museum (very tiny and cold).

Stopped for lunch, then walked out along the main canal. Headed back into town and went up the Belfry. We witnessed a proposal at the top. The views are possibly even better than I remember. Getting down took ages - we'd always be at the narrowest, shoulder-wide section of staircase when we met people trying to go up.

Finally got down, and went in the Dali exhib next door to rest our legs. Another wander around, then got frites from the square. We sat on a windowsill to eat them, and found ourselves the subject of about 8 guys who were assumedly on a photo tour. Tried to eat in an attractive manner. More wandering, then got ice cream from Da Vinci.
