Male Chaffinch (Fingilla coelebs )

For once the weather forecast was correct.  It poured down as they said it would.  Unsurprisingly I stayed in and caught up on a few things I need to get on to the computer.

With regard to blips I had to choose between raindrops on the window and a few bird shots.  Of the birds that braved the weather, I preferred the shot of the male Chaffinch.  The Blue Tit which has been roosting in the nestbox for a couple of months was in by 4:10 and head under wing asleep by 4:15.
