Primrose

Whilst investigating my lack of daffodils (the deer have cropped them all to ground level) I found this beautiful little primrose lurking under a shrub where it has been protected from the strong winds.

Gardening today was wonderful, it's sunny and almost warm, and the soil is easy to dig, dry and friable. How lucky are we here compared with other parts of the UK?
