New Work

I’m back at it. Worked on this small painting today. It’s 12 by 12 inches. I used the new alcohol pens Shelly gave me for Chanukah/Christmas. They allowed me to use richer color and a wider range of value. I plan to keep playing with them.

Today for the fourth day in a row we went to a performance. Three were at WWU including this one by the Faculty Woodwind Quintet, Fifth Inversion. We heard many works we had not heard before. Great fun. And very well played. It was their first live performance in two years. The audience was small but very enthusiastic, including us.
